As written in CV (CV.en) I worked 25 years (add 7 years as student, incl 2 years time in Soviet Army) in university as faculty IT admin. Scope of my work was from ordering, install, maintaining stuff (networking till phones etc.) till staff and students support. Including computer rooms for group working of students. Etc. Yeah, I was laid off (~ thrown out like a kärnane dog) after 25 + 7 years and cause of this wasn't my disability (system were setup ok), but sandbox games of "power" of some little people. They still out there, some of them. No thanks from faculty nor from IT dep. It's T university, they don't care about anyone but themselves. Typical. I wasn't the only one. Uni lost years of IT-experience and -knowledge, faithful soldiers with vocational education were kept, Uni-own highly educated ones were abandoned. It was (and still is) nothing about "just business", it's very personal! Some of my work at Uni is described here (see left using sidebar), pictured, but labeled in Estonian.
I wasn't never late. Never sick. See also.
Then I worked almost 6 years (half a month less) on behalf of one-men company (we offered a service) for software maintaining around of 40+ Windows computers and supporting staff. No, earned not much and ... (about this perhaps later) ..., but I liked what I was doing and this is what matter for my most. I worked remotely, wo exception, from behind my desk at home. Within these ~ 6 years I met little one-men company person I work for just once - some 6 months earlier I start to work there. I had my tasks and my work-field before me, I was doing my job. Why I lost it? Because we lost this (3-rd party) company we work for, offered a service. Simple as that. Why we (yes, me too!) lost this company? ... Well, this is another subject, not much to-do with my job (quality) there.
I wasn't never late. Never sick. Every day during this last job 2157 days (~ 30 days to go as right now) journey I took a look for computers/site I maintain (when I had access to) , every single day. Remotely, from my Home, wo exception.
So, when is needed to soft-maintain group of Windows computers (perhaps even hundreds wo special soft) I can do that. As service. It does not matter if You don't have a domain or special maintaining soft (like ZENworks, SCCM ~ MEMCM etc), I'm still able to help. Job first, money after. ... I'm not starving, not yet!
To be more clear ... (yes, I know, it's reduces my chances) ...
I'm not suitable for IT bellboy, sorry.
I prefer to have own responsibility on my tasks.
I'm working from home.
Yes, for me it's suitable to work part-time.
Salary? It's negotiable.
I'm quite direct person and also prefer to keep myself to myself.
